The Baltic States simultaneously announced the expulsion of Russian diplomats

The Latvian authorities are expelling three employees of the Russian embassy from the country “in connection with activities contrary to their diplomatic status” and because of the military operation in Ukraine. About it on Twitter announced Latvian Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevich.

Estonia made the same decision. informs Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Tallinn recognized as persona non grata three employees of the Russian embassy with diplomatic status. According to the department, they “took a direct and active part in undermining the security of Estonia and spreading propaganda” of Russia.

Diplomats will have to leave the countries within 72 hours.

Lithuania, on the other hand, will send four employees of the Russian embassy.
