Pole vault star KC Lightfoot will be left out of the World Championships in Athletics.
The matter was confirmed when the American fell to a score of 581 in his country’s championships and was fourth in the games.
The American championships are a tough qualification for the prestigious competitions, as the three best of the competition got a place in the World Championships.
Won the competition Chris Nilsen with a score of 591. Zach McWhorter was second with a score of 586. He took the last place in the competition Zach Bradford, who jumped a score of 581. Bradford cleared the height of 581 with his first, while Lightgoot only with his second. Thus, Bradford was third.
It also knew that the result remained the same Sam Kendricks is out of the games. Kendrick has jumped a career-best 606.
KC Lighfoot has been considered one By Armad Duplantis one of the toughest challengers in terms of the World Championships, as he jumped 607 on June 2. The result was also the third best pole vault result of all time.
