Everything indicates that the attacker, who injured a couple in a tourist village, decided to take his own life at sea after the attack
The Asturian seriously injured by another Asturian during his holiday stay in Ibiza has been discharged after a brief stay in the ICU. His good recovery, the health authorities point out, has allowed him to leave the Can Misses hospital promptly, where he was admitted after the violent attack received by him and his partner at the hands of another young Asturian, whoHe stabbed them in a tourist village before dying himself at sea.
From the Civil Guard they confirm that everything indicates that the attacker and the victim, both from Avilés, knew each other and it is assumed that they had spent the night partying together in Ibiza. Another extreme that is also given almost certainly, in the absence of completely confirming it by the autopsy, is that the aggressor took his own life after what happened by jumping into the sea.
The attacker stabbed the couple while they slept in their tourist village. One of the victims is a 32-year-old man, also a native of Avilés, although he has lived on the island for a long time. He was the most seriously injured due to knife wounds to the chest: he was admitted to the ICU, although he has already been discharged. His girlfriend, 26 and with dual French and Spanish nationality, had previously been discharged. Both were transferred to the Can Misses hospital after being treated in the first instance at a health center.
It was the victims themselves who gave notice of what happened. When the Civil Guard went to the scene, the alleged attacker had fled. The agents then began the search and found the lifeless body of the attacker in the vicinity of Punta Pedreraon the northwest coast of the island.
Now everything indicates, according to the first investigations, that the three had spent the night partying together before the stabbing occurred, after which, according to the first indications, the avilesino aggressor would have taken his own life. It was a night in Ibiza with a tragic ending.
