The Ardennes, where a house secretly became cheaper, but Flemish people continue to invest

A house in the Ardennes has become a bit more expensive: in the first half of this year you paid 180,100 euros for an average house, which is 5.9% more than a year earlier. By way of comparison: in Flanders the median price of a house is 310,000 euros. Nevertheless, there were 11.7% fewer transactions in the Ardennes, the main reasons being inflation, the energy crisis and rising interest rates.
