Children born or adopted on or after November 2007
There is no doubt that the economy suffers more and more. The war in Ukraine, now the increasing drought and the increasing rise in prices make the weaker economies suffer more and more and find it difficult to make ends meet, but even more so if it is a family with dependent children.
For this reason, the State contemplates a single payment aid to partially compensate all the increase that some families are suffering with the birth or adoption of a new childabove all, in large, single-parent families or with the mother affected by a disability of 65% or greater at the time of delivery.
Requirements to apply for aid
This measure affects children born or adopted as of November 2007, as long as the birth occurred in Spanish territory and the adoption is recognized by the competent Spanish authority. In addition, to receive the aid, you must reside legally in Spanish territory and not be entitled to benefits of this same nature in any other public social protection scheme.
On the other hand, you also have to meet a requirement with income. Depending on the number of children and whether or not you have a large family. Hence There are tables with a minimum income limit depending on the children in charge.
Amount of aid and recipients
The amount to receive for the aid is 1,000 euros to the parents who live in the same home, or if there is no cohabitation, the payment would be made to the person in charge of guardianship and custody of the children. It can be requested during the 5 years after the birth or adoption and the person in charge of making the payment is the National Social Security Institute (INSS).
How to ask for the help of 1,000 euros
In order to request this aid, it must be done through a form that is located available on the INSS website, in which they will also ask us for the documents that prove the identity and the circumstances that would give the right to receive the payment. All procedures can be carried out online if you have access to the digital certificate or the cl@ve system.
Another way to request it is through ordinary mail or in a Social Security Service and Information Center (CAISS).
