The actor Joel Joan will close the list of Together for Altafulla – Municipal Commitment (CM) in the next municipal elections. The artist, who has shown strong affection and ties to the municipality of Tarragonès, where he has a second residence, has decided to support the formation in the upcoming elections. As party sources have explained to the ACN agency, Joan will be number 13 of the Junts candidacy in the town, where he is listed as an independent. The list will be headed by Maria Eva Martinez, followed by Tomàs Serra, Daninia Martínez and Antoni Capell. Martínez is a councilor for Junts per Altafulla after the resignation of Héctor López Bofill, who will symbolically close the list as the last of the substitutes. ERC lost the municipal government in 2022 due to a motion of no confidence that it led Altafulla Alternative and endorsed Junts and that it was presented after the impact of a storm on the beaches and the lack of reaction from the mayor’s office.
