The aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from the Querétaro airport
At least two people have died after the crash of a plane shortly after taking off from the Querétaro Airport, in southern Mexico, as reported by local authorities. “We inform that a private aircraft, piper PA31, that took off from our facilities suffered an accident in the vicinity of the Galeras community, Colón,” the Querétaro International Airport has detailed on its Twitter account.
The two people who at the moment are known to have been on board the plane, the pilot and a companion, they have lost life after the collision of the aircraft against the ground, which has been completely destroyed, as reported by the newspaper ‘Plaza de Armas’.
The plane, which has US registration, has capacity for up to seven passengers, although for the moment it is unknown if more people were traveling.
