The 90s, the decade we love to hate

Thomas Balmaceda reviews the most relevant events of the 1990s, a time marked by the fall of the Wall, the supposed “triumph of neoliberalism” and the “end of history”. Politics, sports, art, and the media underwent great transformations. Each chapter of this series focuses on one year and tries to go through different topics from the archive material and with interviews with people who lived and thought that time. The cycle proposes events put together in such a way that they would manage to show the signs of a past that helps explain our present. Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m., by channel Meeting.
