The 5 most embarrassing twitch streams from German rappers

Clearly, in terms of self-marketing, Twitch is the next big thing for German rap in 2023. More and more rappers are trying to gain a foothold on the streaming platform and build up a broad following. But live is known to be live and the risk of embarrassing yourself in front of a large following is all the greater. We’ve compiled the five low points.

1. Manuellsen and the Neo-Nazi

It’s not that easy to find a selection for the most embarrassing manual stream, because the selection of embarrassing manual streams is almost inexhaustible. As soon as he turns on the webcam or even the cell phone camera, this seasoned artist becomes a viral meme. Once, for example, Manuellsen wanted to beat up the children’s program presenter Willy from the children’s program “Willy will’s Wissen” because Manuellsen, 44, had not really understood the concept of said children’s program and thought Willy would make fun of the children. Oh well.

Perhaps the most embarrassing moment in a Twitch career full of embarrassments was the joint stream with Steven Feldmann, a self-confessed neo-Nazi who is now in prison. Feldmann belongs to those closest to the NPD, has already been imprisoned for violent crimes, speaks openly about a Germany in which only Germans should live, and is described by Manuellsen, who himself has Ghanaian roots, as a “stable guy”. He, Manuellsen, who has a history of speaking out against racism, believes you should just give your “habibi Steven” “a little love.” Steven, on the other hand, remains of the opinion that black people shouldn’t be in Germany. Never before has a German rapper demeaned himself so much – without even realizing it.

2. Kianush, the Flat Earth and the Jews

Kiansush probably owes his fame in the broader German rap mainstream less to his musical output than to a viral interview in which he quite naturally spoke out in favor of the “Flat Earth” theory. There he stated that it was a “big coincidence” that the theory of a round earth was about “300-400 years” old, because, he says, that would be exactly the time “with such large families as Rothschild “ had arisen. Oh well. A few years later, he admitted to himself that he had simply done “bad research” at the time. However, he now uses these expandable skills as a trademark and runs his twitch streams under exactly this motto. One wonders on this never-ending shitshow, is it really the earth or just the head of Kianush that’s hollow inside, as he discusses in one of the episodes, right next to the question about Rothschild’s, child-blood-drinking elites, George Soros, 9/11 and so on. It’s hard to identify a low point here, but Franz Pökler’s research is a kind of worst of all streams with, thankfully, decent commentary.

3. Sinan G and the militant vegan

Originally, the “G” in Sinan G once stood for “gold”, but it can also be deciphered with either “gangster” or “leaked videos showing him masturbating in a bathtub”. The latter made sure that he wasn’t taken that seriously as a gangster anymore, but that doesn’t really matter now, because the successes he had as a rapper were never worth gold anyway. Sinan G is, you have to give him that, an outstanding entertainer. Accordingly, the Essen native’s twitch stream is very popular.

The highlight was his encounter with the vegan activist Raffaela Raab, who as a “militant vegan” enjoys a great deal of hype in all common social networks. In the shared stream, Sinan presented her with his, shall we say, idiosyncratic proposals for anchoring vegetarianism in the mainstream. “Imagine you kill a deer and that comes with its cousin. Then no one would eat animals anymore.” But precisely because of the endearingly naïve moments, an absolutely worthwhile stream:

4. Fler and the madness

A great artist wouldn’t be a great artist if he didn’t always bring a modicum of madness with him. Exactly how high this dosage is for a rapper like Fler is likely to depend on the form of the day, but whether you believe it or not, in this stream, the well-known choleric seems more like a social worker, because he meets the singer Julien Williams, earlier known as J-Luv. It should be known that he struggles with his psyche, but the encounter with Fler seems to trigger some form of psychosis in a grotesque way – the result is now Twitch history. Two hours of conversation, death threats, Satanist accusations, crazy screaming – more madness doesn’t get any more.

5. Manual reading and the chat

It’s not that easy to choose… oh yes, we already mentioned that. Alright, we don’t want to be stingy and give Manuellsen a second place on this list. The subjective foreign shame factor is simply too high to not want to concede it. Now, in fairness, it has to be reiterated that Manuellsen could have had a great career if he didn’t let everything and everyone trigger him to such an extent that he completely lost his self-control. He regularly threatens to hit people in the head with machetes or travels across the country to ambush Internet trolls. Because some people in his chat are cheering on his feud with the (formerly friends, now enemies) Twitch streamer Rooz, he finally loses his temper, so that his streaming partner Jihad (yes, it’s really called that) tried to protect him from the worst and muted the stream for a few seconds and played applause sounds, which made the insane moment even more awesome. One of the German rap moments of 2023. Unfortunately.
