Then, every Tuesday, as established by the new regulation, new applications will arrive proposed and supported by one of the 400 Amici della Domenicathe nucleus of intellectuals and professionals who play a central role in this cultural event.
And so on until to March 1st when to the Nymphaeum of Rome the winner will be named.
The first nominations for the 2023 Witch Prize have arrived: many interesting names
An important story
Since was born the Premio Strega has always managed to capture moods of the cultural environment and literary tastes of Italians.
All the books that have been awarded they told the country, the language, the changes, the traditions. And in 70 years, readers have been encouraged by the choices made by the jury of the literary competition to read themselves, their history and their present through the mirror of contemporary fiction.
And interestingly, it still does.
