Popular Bollywood actor Tunisha Sharma20, died on Christmas Eve while filming the TV series Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul in Bombay, India.
Sharma had gone for tea during the shooting break. After the break, he was nowhere to be seen. Police were called to the scene and found Tunisha Sharma dead in the bathtub.
Tunisha Sharma’s co-star and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Mohammed Khan, 28, has been arrested in connection with the case. He is suspected of assisting suicide. Tunisha Sharma’s mother accuses the man of mentally abusing her daughter and holds him responsible for the death.
Tunisha Sharma shared just a few hours before her death photo to Instagram and wrote “those who are driven by passion do not give up”.
Tunisha Sharma broke through as a child actress in the serial Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap which ran for more than 500 episodes.
The case is still under investigation.
