Joselu and Oliván, one of the highlights in Diego Martínez’s painting

Espanyol, finally, could sing victory at the RCDE Stadium by winning their first home game against Real Valladolid, all thanks to Joselu Mato’s solitary goal that was enough to win 1-0.

The striker signed his seventh goal of the season and, once again, scored thanks to a good cross from Oliván. These are, one by one, the scores of Espanyol players against Valladolid at the RCDE Stadium.

Lecomte (7). Sure. First solid game for the French goalkeeper this season. It was a lock between the posts and repelled all the attempts of Valladolid.

Oscar Gil (6). Tireless. It was 90′ and the right back continued with the same intensity as at the beginning of the game. His return to the team was noted.

Sergio Gomez (7). Sign. Like his teammates in the zone, he showed great progress in terms of his performance. He responded well to Martinez’s confidence.

Cabrera (7). Recovered. The center-back showed, once again, his best version at the back to lead his team and get the zero on goal for the second time in the campaign.

Olive (8). Complete. Both in attack and defense, the winger’s performance is quite useful. He assisted Joselu again for the second goal.

Vini Souza (6). Erratic. He was one of the lazy bastards when he made mistakes. He earned a yellow card for an unnecessary foul after his own mistake.

Edu Exposito (6). Sacrificed. The midfielder moved a lot down the wing to leave the central lane for Puado. He had little danger action. He was substituted in the second half.

darter (7). Guide. Again, the ’10’ was active like no other in midfield, creating dangerous opportunities and being the compass for this Espanyol.

Alex Vidal (6). Active. In the first part he was one of those who hurried the most to send balls into the area. He was diluted in the complement and Martínez replaced him.

Handful (6). Fallon. The striker made an unforgivable mistake that could have been the final sentence, crashing his shot into the left post.

Joselu (9). killer. Nothing to add about the ‘9’ parakeet, hero once again for Diego Martínez’s team. He put the head and victory with the seventh goal from him.

Keidi Bare (6). Lively. Whenever he enters, the Albanian leaves everything in the green. Good minutes.

Loop (5). Lost. The winger had few actions since he entered. He didn’t make a difference.

Melamed (sc). He barely played the last five minutes.
