The former Liverpool star Sadio Mané31, new wife Aisha Tamba18, has broken her silence about the couple’s recent marriage.
Tamba married Senegalese Mané in Dakar, Senegal in early January. The 18-year-old’s life changed with the marriage in one fell swoop, as he previously lived in a suburb in Dakar together with 30 of his relatives.
– I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I don’t feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money won’t change me. It’s not what I’m interested in. I remain a humble person committed to my faith, Tamba says to a British tabloid for the Daily Mail.
Tamba is expected to move to Mané in Saudi Arabia later this year after he completes his schooling. Media attention has come to Tamba as a new thing.
– I’m not used to this because we are a very private family. We don’t want to introduce and talk about our personal life. I’m very down to earth, that’s how I was brought up and nothing will be different just because of this marriage, says Tamba.
– But I am very honored to be Mrs. Mané now, she added.
Mané plays in Saudi Arabia in the Al-Nassr team together Cristiano Ronaldo with. The footballer joined the team in August 2023 on a four-year contract worth £136m (around €158m) per season tax-free.
A Senegalese woman can get married at the age of 16. Nigerian Business Day website according to reports, Mané met Tamba when he was 16, but did not want to officially approach him at that age. Instead, they met in secret.
