120 museums, family centres, planetariums, parks, churches, mosques and libraries invite you to a “Family Night”.
It starts on Saturday at 5 p.m. with the hands-on opening party in the “Alte Mälzerei Lichtenrade”.
Children’s music stars Suli Puschban and the “Chapel of Good Hope” perform, Hertha BSC shows how the ball runs smoothly, and mascot Hertinho is also there.
Tango Argentino, capoeira, body percussion, improtheatre, knitting or photography can be tried out in exciting mini taster courses.
In the children’s museum under the roof, the sea can be explored at night. How do fish sleep? Why does the moon move the sea? The kids learn that and much more, and: there is a small supper made of seaweed. (From 5 p.m., free entry. Steinstraße 37, Lichtenrade)
But also in the rest of Berlin, kids from two to 14 years old can do handicrafts, climb, dance, search for treasures, solve puzzles, explore nature and bake stick bread.
Among others: FEZ Berlin, the Extavium Potsdam, the bread bakery Märkisches Landbrot, the Allied Museum, the Zeiss Planetarium, the Grashüpfer puppet theater, the outdoor laboratories Britz and Marzahn, the State Ballet, the youth art school, Tempelhofer Feld, Oranienburg Palace and many more.
Saturday October 8th. For some events you have to register online in advance. Admission is often free, some offers cost a small amount. www. familynight.de
