Transfer sensation in the Bundesliga: National player Niklas Süle is moving from Bayern Munich to Borussia Dortmund in the summer. Süle has now explained why in an interview.
Niklas Süle “decided a few weeks ago to play for Borussia Dortmund in the future.” This is what the international told the “Bild” newspaper about the BVB transfer coup.
“Right from the first contact I felt that those responsible at the club were really interested in working with me. Hans Joachim Watzke, Michael Zorc, Sebastian Kehl and Marco Rose gave me an impressive account of the role I play at BVB can,” said the 26-year-old, who is moving from German record champions FC Bayern to Dortmund, who are second in the Bundesliga, on a free transfer.
He had the feeling “of being wanted as a person and as a footballer. I was impressed by the way they took care of me, so I quickly knew where I was going to play in the future,” said the defender. “I’ve had a very successful time with Bayern Munich so far and have won everything you can win here. I’d like to build on that in the coming months with these great teammates and an outstanding coach and win more titles.”
