American defenseman Ben Blood returns to Finland and Lahti Pelicans. According to information received by Iltalehti, the long-rumored matter was confirmed on Thursday.
The parties will sign the contract on Friday and the matter will be published on Friday as well.
The 34-year-old Minnesotan comes to the Pelicans for the third time in his career. The package weighing more than a hundred kilograms roamed Lahti in 2015–17 and last season.
This season Blood has been playing for Löwen Franfurt of the DEL league, where he has recently fallen out of the playing lineup.
The Pelicans have been interested in the familiar player for quite some time, but Löwen Frankfurt slowed down the transfer process.
