Hertha is only one point away from runners-up Dortmund on the last day of the game. Good that Hertha has coach Felix Magath (68)!

He has experienced everything in football – including a relegation final. In 2011, he saved Wolfsburg from a crash on matchday 34 with a 3-1 win in Hoffenheim, which was very close at the time due to the first intermediate results.

Magath before the Hertha final at BVB: “I don’t deal with the past, but with the present. We will go into the game against runners-up Dortmund with full conviction, fighting spirit and determination. We have everything in our own hands and have to bring something with us from Dortmund. We dare to do that.”

Magath’s record from the last five duels in Dortmund is also encouraging: 2 wins, two draws, 1 bankruptcy.

Hertha’s hopes rest on Retter Magath, who is the third coach this season to have the best point average (1.17 per game) ahead of Pal Dardai (1.08) and Tayfun Korkut (0.69).

The coach: “It’s not about Felix Magath. It’s not about a score. It’s all about Hertha BSC and staying up. Everyone needs to understand that now!”

Otherwise Hertha will have to go into relegation if Stuttgart defeats Cologne!
