“That last part with the cake was disastrous! haha! I’m a bit sick of it.” First edition ‘De Alleskunner’ during Volksfeest Zuidwolde is a success.

Zuidwolde is celebrating the Volksfeest this week and on the second day ‘De Alleskunner’ was on the program, after the well-known television program of SBS6. About sixty participants competed with each other by carrying out thirty thinking and, above all, doing assignments. After a blistering final, Benjamin Kooijman from Zuidwolde can call himself the winner of the first edition.

The party tent in the Groene Hart in Zuidwolde formed the backdrop for the popular game on Tuesday evening, where the participants were challenged to carry out the especially difficult assignments. Each round has one or two dropouts. With great interest and loud applause, the participants were encouraged to stay in the fight and move on to the next round.

On behalf of the organization, Rielle Hummel and Geri Hut were in charge and made the preparations. “We had a lot of fun while coming up with the assignments. We came up with all thirty assignments in one evening. We are very pleased with how it went and partly due to the enthusiasm of the participants and the reactions of the public, it was a great success!”, they respond.

Kim Bols from Zuidwolde made it to the penultimate round. “I liked it very much! I found the math difficult, but otherwise all assignments were very nice. It gave me adrenaline! It was a successful activity! Next year again!”

Missing the cream pie

During the final, the last four participants were challenged to be the fastest, without hands, to eat a whipped cream cake. A challenge, but in the end it is Benjamin Kooijman from Zuidwolde who succeeds. With loud applause and ditto music from the speakers, he receives his well-deserved cup from the hands of the jury and thus has the scoop with the title ‘De Alleskunner van Zuidwolde’. “I thought it was a fantastic evening, but that last part with the cake was disastrous! haha! I’m a little sick of it. But oh well, it was really nice. They were fun assignments. The most difficult part was the grammar assignments. Getting the apple out of a bucket of water was the easiest for me. It was all well organized, so worth repeating!”

To get an idea of ​​the parts that the participants had to face: the program included assignments such as writing in mirror image, shooting a rubber band into the bucket from a distance, folding a paper plane and throwing it as far as possible, trying to get tissues with one hand as quickly as possible take out the box, make a rusk whistle : eat a rusk and whistle a tune as quickly as possible, complete a puzzle with safety glasses as quickly as possible, peel the longest potato peel, fill a water pistol and shoot a ping pong ball to the finish line and roll out a tape measure up to 2 meters and try rolling a ping pong ball over the measuring tape in the bowl.
