Andreas Wellinger won silver at the Ski Flying World Championships on Kulm after a game of patience. In the triumph of the Austrian Stefan Kraft, the Bavarian fought his way onto the podium with a strong third flight at 229.0 m. Strong winds and the onset of darkness then prevented a fourth round.
