The debut of trainer Dirk Kuijt at ADO Den Haag was disastrous in the first three competition matches. This afternoon the former international finally had reason to cheer: Young Ajax went over the knee with 4-0.
Things went wrong with the Amsterdam promises from the start. In the second minute, Joël Zwarts headed a cross from Xander Severina near the far post. A few minutes later, Kristian Hlynsson became dangerous. Sontje Hansen gave a nice cross ball to the Icelander, but keeper Hugo Wentges.

Although Jong Ajax had a lot of ball possession, the team of coach John Heitinga only managed to become dangerous. After half an hour, captain Kian Fitz-Jim tried from distance and again Wentges prevented a goal.
In the 38th minute, ADO struck. After Jong Ajax lost the ball, Severina was sent deep and finished off skillfully. Immediately after the break, Max de Waal decided the game. The mercenary of Ajax made the 3-0 after a wonderful attack by ADO.
For Jong Ajax, Christian Rasmussen was close to a goal after a clever hack by substitute Ar’jany Martha. The Dane’s shot went just wide. Three minutes later the ball was in the goal on the other side. Outstanding Severina curled the ball from the edge of the penalty area past keeper Tom de Graaff.
In the final half hour, Gabriel Misehouy, who was making his starting debut, tried again from afar. He also shot wide. In the final phase Zwarts had several chances to further increase the score, but each time he was too selfish, so that the final score remained at 4-0.
For Young Ajax it is the second loss this season in the first division. Previously lost the promises na an insane handball from Kik Pierie from Roda JC. Next Monday, Jong Ajax will play against leader Heracles Almelo.
Young Ajax line-up: De Graaff; Jermoumi, Aertssen, Pierie, Milovanovic (Martha/46); Reign (Giovanni/81), Hlynsson, Fitz-Jim (Vos/79); Hansen, Rasmussen and Misehouy (Warmerdam/64)
