One year after Wolfsburg farewell
A year after leaving VfL Wolfsburg in the direction of Belgium to KV Kortrijk, attacker Jesaja Herrmann is moving on. After a successful trial, the 22-year-old is moving to Dutch second division club NAC Breda on a one-year loan basis, who have also secured a purchase option. The ex-DFB junior made 13 appearances for Kortrijk last season.
“Isaiah is a striker with different qualities. He’s strong, big, fast and has a good shot. Of course he enjoyed a good education at VfL Wolfsburg,” said technical director Eric Hellemons, who revealed that assistant coach and scout Ton recommended Lokhoff Herrmann, whom he knows from their days together in Wolfsburg, where Lokhoff worked as an assistant from 2014 to 2021 and individual trainer worked. “Ton knows the player and has followed him since he was fifteen. Hopefully he can redeem his promising status with the NAC.”
