Trabzonspor Club President Ahmet Ağaoğlu thanked the sports fans who supported the earthquake victims by buying tickets in the Trabzonspor-Basel match played on 16 February in the UEFA European Conference League play-off round.
Ağaoğlu published a thank you message on the website of the burgundy-blue club with the title “We will continue to heal our wounds together”.
Ağaoğlu stated the following in his message:
“After the earthquake that saddened our country, the sensitivity, unity and solidarity we showed as a nation to the Basel match, which we played in the UEFA European Conference League and donated all its income to AFAD, warmed our hearts to some extent. I would like to express my endless thanks to all the sports fans in the country who showed interest in the souvenir tickets, especially the president of our federation, who came to the match by not responding to our call, and to the president and board members of our other clubs.”
