After the earthquakes, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş, Atakaş Hatayspor and Gaziantep FK from Spor Toto Super League withdrew from the league.
While there were requests from the lower leagues, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi made a statement.
President Büyükekşi announced that they approved the withdrawal requests of Adıyaman FK and Diyarbekirspor from the 2nd League, Kahramanmaraşspor, Osmaniyespor and Malatya Arguvanspor from the 3rd League.
