The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced the start dates of the new season in professional leagues on its official website. According to the information, the Super League will start with the matches to be played on 5, 6, 7 and 8 August 2022.
TFF’s statement on the subject is as follows:
The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation has determined the start and end dates of the 2022-2023 season for Spor Toto Super League, Spor Toto 1st League, TFF 2nd League and TFF 3rd League.
According to the decision taken; Spor Toto Super League and Spor Toto 1st League; It will start with matches to be played on 5, 6, 7 and 8 August 2022. Spor Toto Super League matches will end on 28 May 2023. In Spor Toto 1st League, the regular season will end on 14 May 2023.
Due to the FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar between 21 November – 18 December 2022, Spor Toto Super League and Spor Toto 1.Lig will be suspended as of Monday, 14 November.
TFF 2nd League will start with the matches to be played on 27-28 August 2022 and the regular season will end on 29 April 2023.
In the TFF 3rd League, the matches will be played from 3-4 September 2022 and the regular season will end on 29 April 2023.
