Hertha can really use this dream couple in the 2nd division!
Marco Richter and summer signing Fabian Reese shine as a dangerous duo in the 2-1 win against Belgium’s first division promoted Molenbeek. Exactly two weeks before the start of the season, the Bundesliga relegated team is showing promising approaches on offense – and isolated gaps in defence.
In the Steinberg Stadium in Leogang in Austria, coach Pal Dardai (47) sends his supposed A-Elf into the race. Also present: the offensive duo with captain Richter on the tenth position and winger Reese on the wings.
And the two start right away. After a quick switching game, Richter was able to cross unhindered in the 10th minute, Reese slammed the ball into the goal with a direct acceptance, which is worth seeing.
