Bundesliga club VfL Bochum suffered a defeat in preparation for the new season.
In the test match at second division SC Paderborn, VfL lost 0:2 (0:1). Hertha BSC also struggled for a long time, but ultimately won 5-1 (1-0) against the regional league team Energie Cottbus.
Florent Muslija (40th) and Jannis Heuer (58th) scored in Paderborn for the East Westphalians, who presented themselves in good shape a week before the start of the second Bundesliga season.
