Viewing tip! Tess from Zoetermeer participates in the new AVROTROS TV program Sketch Studio. Together with eleven other drawing talents, between the ages of 12 and 15, she will compete to become the best drawing talent in the Netherlands.

Tess will complete all kinds of different drawing assignments in eight weeks to win the golden pencil. Soy Kroon is the presenter of the program.
Elimination race
The candidates draw superheroes, make portraits of famous artists and illustrate a creepy story. Paul van Loon has an exciting assignment in a terrifying location in the semi-finals. In the final, YouTuber Creachick comes along to take a critical look at the latest drawings of the remaining contenders. Can Tess surprise the most and can she call herself the best cartoonist in the Netherlands?
Sketch Studio
The competition is an elimination race where someone has to go home every week. This decision is made by art teacher, artist and jury member Wolf Hekkema together with a well-known guest jury member such as singer Meau. She serves as inspiration by singing a song about the light and dark periods in her life. The participants must make a drawing based on this. Other guests in the program are athlete Marlou van Rhijn, presenter Niels Oosthoek, YouTuber Wildebras, presenter and actress Nienke van Dijk and presenter Tim Senders.
Sketch Studio can be seen for two months from Saturday September 23 at 6:10 PM at AVROTROS on NPO Zapp.
