Tesla factory near Berlin closed for two weeks for maintenance work | Abroad

The factory in Grünheide, east of Berlin, was officially opened in March. At the factory, 500,000 cars are expected to come off the production line every year, with the help of 12,000 employees. Now only 1,000 cars a week would be built at the factory by 5,000 employees.

Efforts are underway to increase production capacity. In the coming quarters, production should grow to 5000 electric cars per week. In addition, a battery factory is also to be built on site.
