BVB trainer Edin Terzic has given an update on Nico Schlotterbeck. The Borussia Dortmund head coach is hoping for the defender to play in the Bundesliga season finale.
Schlotterbeck had to be substituted with thigh problems after 25 minutes of the new leaders’ 4-0 (3-0) win against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening.
“We hope it’s not that dramatic and that we benefit from taking him down early,” Terzic said on “Sky”.
Schlotterbeck had already complained about problems in his thigh after the international match against Peru at the end of March and then injured himself in the top game at Bayern Munich in early April.
Against Frankfurt he made his comeback, which was quickly over. BVB goes into the final five matches with a one-point lead over series champions Munich.
