No idea how you started the new year, but probably not like this Chinese truck driver. He was on his way to Changzhi in northern China on New Year’s Day, but got into a predicament when his GPS steered him along a narrow mountain pass. Realizing that his truck might be too big after all, the driver tried to back up. Bad idea, because while he was maneuvering, one of his wheels slipped off the mountainside and his cabin dangled precariously over a 100-meter high cliff. The driver got away with a fright and a fine story. In the end it took another three days before the truck could be freed from its plight.
