Marc-Andre ter Stegen worked as a “security man” during the international match of the German national soccer team against Colombia.
The goalkeeper intervened when two speedsters tried to chain themselves to one of his goalposts in Gelsenkirchen (24′).
The game was briefly interrupted because of the scene. The man and woman who grabbed “Sheriff” ter Stegen were then taken away by real security guards.
Both wore a shirt with the inscription “Stop the fossil madness”.
