National coach Hansi Flick still hasn’t completed his squad three days before the symbolic 1000th international match against Ukraine on Monday (6:00 p.m. / ZDF) in Bremen. Ilkay Gündogan (Manchester City) and Robin Gosens (Inter Milan) are still playing the Champions League final in Istanbul on Saturday.
Kevin Schade (FC Brentford), who was only supposed to play against Ukraine anyway, left on Thursday due to muscular problems. Josha Vagnoman (VfB Stuttgart) and Youssoufa Moukoko (Borussia Dortmund) travel from Frankfurt to the U21 training camp in South Tyrol on Sunday.
The seniors meet Poland four days after Ukraine’s game in Warsaw, before taking on Colombia in Gelsenkirchen on 20 June.
