Tens of thousands of euros worth of work materials stolen in Pittem

Thieves smashed the rear windows of several vans last night and made off with more than 3,000 euros worth of work materials. It is striking that the entire Notary Loridanstraat had to deal with the same thieves.

More than 10,000 euros has been stolen from a gardener’s car. One of the local residents saw a white van driving into the dead end a few times yesterday, but nobody saw or heard anything last night.

The police will already look at the images from the cameras with number plate recognition on the approach roads.
