Thousands of people have taken to the streets in several major French cities to march against anti-Semitism, which they say is increasing in response to Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza. According to the police prefecture, there were about 105,000 demonstrators in the capital. The Paris police have deployed 3,000 officers along the route.
