The return of Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios to the tennis tour has been further delayed. The French Open is still too early for the Australian.
Kyrgios, who has not played a match this year due to a knee injury and underwent surgery in January, will definitely not play in the traditional tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Paris on May 28.
The clay court Grand Slam in Roland Garros is not one of the 28-year-old’s favorite tournaments anyway, Kyrgios last played there in 2017. Last year he reached a major final for the first time at Wimbledon, but lost to Novak Djokovic.
