Tennis star Arianne Hartono from Meppel caused quite a surprise in the first round of the ITF tournament in Wiesbaden.
Hartono defeated her compatriot Arantxa Rus, who had been seeded first in the German city, in two sets. After more than two hours of play, the Meppelse won 7-5, 7-6 (4).
Russian is in the world ranking in 74th place, Hartono is the global number 165.
