Tennis player Max Houkes (23) from Sleen reached the final of the Challenger doubles tournament in Buenos Aires with his Austrian partner Lukas Neumayer, but did not win. in the final two Peruvians were too strong.
Houkes played a nice tournament in the Argentine capital, where he only had to bow his head in the quarter-finals in the singles with 1-6, 4-6 to Gonzalo Bueno from Peru, who eventually also won the tournament.
Super tiebreak lost
In doubles, Houkes was close to his second Challenger double victory, but now two Peruvians were the best of him and Neumayer, although the difference was close. The first set in the final went to Arklon Huertas del Pino Cordova and his partner Connor Huertas Del Pino (3-6), after which Houkes and Neumayer won the second set (6-3) and ultimately lost the decisive super tiebreak 10-6.
