Tennis player Max Houkes (23) from Sleen wins doubles in Rwanda

TENNIS – Max Houkes (23) from Sleen and his French doubles partner, Clément Tabur, have been crowned winners of the doubles during the Rwanda Challenger tournament after two sets.

In Kigali, Drent and his partner defeated Pruchya Isaro and Christopher Rungkat. The duo with Houkes won the first set 6-3. The second set ended in a draw, so another one followed tiebreaker which the duo won 7-4.

Earlier this week, Houkes failed to reach the singles final. He failed in the semi-finals after a three-setter against the Pole Kamil Majchrzak.
