Number 3 seeded Tsitsipas and world number 16 Spanish Carlos Alcaraz faced off in the fourth round of the men’s singles tournament held in Florida, USA.
After a struggle that lasted for 1 hour and 50 minutes, 18-year-old Alcaraz beat his opponent 2-0 with 7-5 and 6-3 sets and made his mark in the quarter-finals.

Japanese Naomi Osaka, who has won four grand slam titles in her career in women’s singles, beat American Danielle Collins, who lost in the final at the Australian Open this year, 2-0 with 6-1 and 6-2 sets, and reached the semi-finals.
Collins’ neck injury negatively affected his performance during the match.
