Tennis in Wimbledon: Nadal makes semi-finals perfect

With irrepressible fighting spirit, Rafael Nadal prevented the elimination at Wimbledon on Wednesday (July 6th, 2022) and reached the semi-finals of the grass classic for the eighth time. Halep took the serve from her opponent four times and only got lost shortly before the end. Halep won the tournament when she last competed in 2019 and has not dropped a set in five games this year.

Semifinal against Rybakina

In the top four, Halep will meet Jelena Rybakina from Kazakhstan. Rybakina had fought back strongly in the 4: 6, 6: 2, 6: 3 against unseeded Ajla Tomljanovic from Australia.

The other semi-final is played by German tennis player Tatjana Maria against world number two Ons Jabeur from Tunisia.
