Coco Gauff has the chance of a double victory at the French Open.
One day after reaching the singles final, the 18-year-old American also reached the doubles final on Friday. With Jessica Pegula (USA) she won a duel against her compatriots Taylor Townsend/Madison Keys 6:4, 7:6 (7:4).
Gauff is emulating the Czech Barbora Krejcikova, who won both competitions last year. On Saturday (3:00 p.m. / Eurosport) she will face the world number one Iga Swiatek from Poland as an outsider.
The opponents in the doubles final on Sunday (11.30 a.m.) have not yet been determined.
