Ten tips have come in about Peter Langenberg. The 56-year-old Alkmaarder was found dead last Sunday in the dunes between Egmond and Bergen. Police say he died as a result of a crime. Last night, Investigation Request paid attention to the case.
Langenberg’s naked body was found around 3:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday near a “men’s meeting place” in the dunes. His clothes, bag and knee brace were missing. His phone was handed in as a found object at a local bookstore.
“We are very happy with the tips,” a police spokesperson told NH Nieuws. “We hope that everyone who knows something and has not yet reported, will still want to do so.” All tips will be included in the investigation by the detective.
Last night the last images of Peter Langenberg were shown on TV. It concerned camera images from a Connexxion bus with which he went to Egmond aan Zee. Police also called on those who found the phone to come forward. The spokesman could not say whether this happened. “We are very happy to get in touch with them.”
The police have not yet released further information about the cause of death, the exact location and who found him. “That’s offender information.”
