The corona wave in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) is not abating. At the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, ten more players had to go into isolation on Tuesday because one of the three pool tests in the morning delivered a positive result, and team training was canceled.
Individual PCR tests should provide information about possible infections against. Six players had previously tested positive for Corona.
According to the club, whether the Ice Tigers game can take place at Red Bull Munich on Wednesday (7:30 p.m. / MagentaSport) will only be decided shortly after the results of the PCR tests.
There is also a question mark over the home game against Adler Mannheim scheduled for Friday (7:30 p.m. / MagentaSport). The Adler reported 14 corona cases on Monday, after another test on Wednesday the situation should be reassessed with the responsible authorities.
