Ten dead in Bangladesh floods, two million people cut off from outside world | Abroad

It is the worst flooding in two decades. Floodwater from northeast India has breached a major dam of the Borak River shared by both countries. As a result, at least 100 villages have been flooded, said Mosharraf Hossain, chief administrator of the region.

“So far, about two million people have been stranded in the flooding,” he said. “At least ten people have died since the beginning of the week.”
