Eight temporary Tiny Houses are intended to provide a solution to the housing problem in Heel.
This concerns people who are in an acute housing shortage. “Consider, for example, people who are involved in a divorce or a starter here from the village who also wants to take his first steps,” says project leader Mark Weusten of housing association Wonen Zuid. “But it can also be a labor migrant or carer”.
Electric
The houses consist of two floors and have a kitchen, toilet, bathroom and two bedrooms. A small terrace is being built at the rear. Furthermore, the houses are fully electric and do not depend on gas.
Two years
Tenants are allowed to stay in the house for a maximum of two years. “We offer them a kind of breathing space,” said Weusten. For the time being, the houses will remain there for about ten years.
