The new festival Tempelhof Sounds has announced the third headliner of its planned debut in another wave of bands: alongside Muse and The Strokes, Florence + the Machine are scheduled to perform in Berlin between June 10th and 12th. With The Strokes already confirmed for Sunday and Muse for Saturday, Florence + the Machine will be honoring themselves and you on Friday.
The current album by Florence Welsh and her band HIGH AS HOPE was released in 2018, a successor has not yet been announced. Other new names in the line-up include Maxïmo Park, Johnossi and Balthazar.

The plans for the new international music festival were made public in October 2021. “Tempelhof Sounds” is scheduled to take place from June 10th to 12th, 2022 at the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin – the same place where the first Lollapalooza Berlin took place in 2015.
“We are very pleased to be able to make this special festival format possible in the capital together with our partners,” commented Stephan Thanscheidt, CEO of FKP Scorpio, on the new festival plans. “Our guests can expect an event that combines top international acts with an extraordinary open-air experience.” “Tempelhof Sounds” wants, it was said, to offer “programmatic surprises” and present a diverse line-up.
