Tempelhof Airport has been down since 2008 and is now a sleeping giant.

Extensive renovation work has finally begun. That’s a good thing, because Berlin has to make this effort.

The building is huge and has endless potential. THF is still an international celebrity today. A place of history and stories.

What Tempelhof needs for the future is a concept of how the building complex can be used in the long term.

Once it is found and the renovation is completed in many, many years, tourists will flock there like they do to the Brandenburg Gate today. I bet on it.
