Telstar will look for the first points of the season tomorrow. Mike Snoei’s men visit Young AZ. “Those U21 teams are getting stronger, so you don’t just walk over them,” says Snoei.
So Telstar has to get to work. They will do that without the suspended Jayden Turfkruier, who has to miss two games. Yahya Boussakou and Christos Giousis are injured. The latter will certainly not be present in the coming months with a fibula fracture. “It will be out until the winter break. It was an ugly break. It has been repaired and you have to take the time for that,” says Snoei.
“We would also like an attacking reinforcement”
Polley and Guinari next reinforcements?
Telstar is still working to strengthen the team. Defenders Robin Polley and Peter Guinari trained today. “There is no white smoke yet. Guinari has already done an internship here. He just has some problems with his papers and we are working hard on that. We would also like an offensive reinforcement.”

Lassana Faye has started his first season at Telstar. The experienced wingback already has a nice resume and wants to use Telstar as a springboard towards a return to the premier league. “My personal ambition is to return to the premier league. I hope to reach the play-offs with Telstar.”
The duel between Young AZ and Telstar can be heard live on NH on Monday. The radio broadcast starts at 7:00 PM and the game starts at 8:00 PM. The match report is done by Eik-Jan Brinkman and Edward Dekker.
