Telstar completes selection with experienced defender Lassana Faye

Telstar has strengthened itself with Lassana Faye. The 25-year-old defender comes over transfer-free from the Canadian York United FC. With a positive medical examination, Faye signs a one-year contract with an option for another season.

Lassana Faye played in the past for Vitesse, Sparta Rotterdam and ADO Den Haag. “I am glad that Lassana Faye chooses Telstar,” says technical manager Peter Hofstede on the Telstar site. “After El Kachati and Augustijns, we are once again adding experience and quality to the selection with Faye.”

The first practice matches are scheduled for this Saturday. The triptych with VV IJmuiden and Stormvogels takes place in-house. De Witte Leeuwen will start the competition on Monday 14 August with an away match against Jong PSV.
