Telstar chooses Peter Hofstede as technical manager

Telstar has appointed Peter Hofstede as interim technical manager. He temporarily succeeds Andries Jonker, who has fulfilled a double function in recent years. It cannot be ruled out that Hofstede will be appointed to De Witte Leeuwen on a permanent basis.

After Andries Jonker left, Telstar had to look for a new trainer and a new technical manager. The first position was filled with Mike Snoei and temporarily he also partly took on the duties of technical manager.

That will now change with the arrival of Hofstede, because the club has opted for a new structure within the organization. Hofstede, together with a technical committee, will be responsible for the composition of the technical staff and the selection.

Old acquaintance

Hofstede is no stranger to Mike Snoei. The two previously worked together at De Graafschap, where Snoei worked at Telstar after his first period. There was Hofstede dem man who put Snoei on the street after he failed to promote to the Eredivisie.
